|Allstate||Allstate offers two types of driver education discounts. Allstate offers discounts to drivers who are 25 years old and have completed 6+ hours of defensive driving courses. You qualify for a discount of up to 10% if you have completed this course and have no violations or at-fault claims on your record. Alternatively, students can qualify for a driver education discount by maintaining good grades and completing a driver education course.

|American Family||American Family Insurance (AmFam) lets drivers save instantly by taking a defensive driving course. Defensive driving course discounts are available to younger drivers (under age 21) and older drivers (over 55). You must complete an approved defensive driving course in your state to qualify for a driver’s education discount, which is worth 5% to 10% for most policyholders.

|Esurance||Esurance, like Farmers, offers driver’s education course discounts to younger and older drivers. If you are a driver over 50 who has completed an approved driver education course, or a driver under 21 who has completed a teen smart driving course, then you could save on car insurance.
