How to use these tools: Enter the most accurate numbers you have from your policy, quote, insurer, repair estimate, DMV notice, or claim documents. When a result depends on state law or insurer methodology, the tool is designed to show the comparison without pretending to make the legal or claim decision for you.

How Insurance Panda’s Tools Work

Our tools are designed to be useful without creating false precision. If an exact number depends on an insurer’s proprietary rating model, vehicle valuation, state law, claim investigation, or policy language, we ask you for the relevant number instead of inventing it.

For example, the Total Loss Payout Calculator asks you to enter the vehicle valuation rather than pretending to determine exact actual cash value. The SR-22 calculator asks for the filing period from your own paperwork instead of assuming everyone needs the same number of years. State-specific tools explain when a percentage or formula is only a reference point rather than a guaranteed insurer decision.

The Insurance Dashboard serves a different purpose: it is a free account area for organizing a quote profile, basic vehicle details, a policy renewal reminder, and quote-history notes. It is not an insurance policy, agent portal, or bindable quote system.
